Q215 Mild Steel Plate

Q215 is generally delivered in hot rolled, controlled rolled or normal condition. Due to the moderate carbon content of Q215, better comprehensive performance, strength, plasticity and welding properties are better match, the most widely used. It is often used in the manufacture of rivets, anchor bolts, stoves, ploughs and welding parts and stamping parts with little force. 

This kind of steel output is the largest, very wide use, more rolled into plate, profile (round, square, flat, work, groove, Angle, etc.) and profile and manufacturing welded steel pipe. Mainly used in building, bridge, ship and other building structure and general fluid pipeline. This kind of steel is generally used without heat treatment.

Mild Steel Sheet are a type of iron-carbon alloy that can contain up to 2.1 percent carbon by weight. Although there is no minimum content of other alloying elements in carbon steels, they frequently contain manganese. Manganese, silicon, and copper concentrations.Low-Carbon Steel Plates (or mild-carbon steel), medium-carbon steel, and high-carbon steel are the three classifications of carbon steel based on their carbon content.

Mild Steel Plate is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218%~2.11%, also known as carbon steel. It also contains small

amounts of silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus. In general, the higher the carbon content of carbon steel, the greater the hardness, the higher the strength, but the lower the plasticity.
