Weather Resistant Steel Plate exhibit a good resistance to corrosion than ordinary steel, it has smallest alloy elements not like stainless steel and its price is more cheaper than stainless.Weathering Steel can be exposed to the atmosphere without painting. It begins to rust in the same way as ordinary steel. But soon the alloying elements in it cause a protective surface layer of fine-textured rust to form, thereby suppressing corrosion rate.In this way. The weathering steel helps to reduce lifecycle costs and environment burdens in a wide range of applications.

The steel is used for various types of welded, bolted and riveted constructions e.g. steel frame structures, bridges, tanks and containers, exhaust systems, vehicles and equipment constructions.

Compared with stainless steel, weathering steel only trace alloy elements, so the price is relatively low.
